Admissions Advisor
ACSOM seeks student-success-focused admissions professionals with a passion for serving others. Must be self-motivated, Should demonstrate success in customer service. The advisor role will be responsible for communicating with ACSOM leads and inquiries in order to enroll interested prospective students.
Evaluation Specialist
The Evaluation Specialist supports projects related to institutional and program evaluations as well as curriculum mapping. This position oversees data analysis and reporting from both quantitative and qualitative methods. The Evaluation Specialist’s primary role is to create, monitor, analyze and report on evaluations using questionnaires and surveys to support these efforts.
Health Sciences Simulation Technologist
General Description and Purpose: Reporting to the Dean of Medical Education and Faculty Development, this position will be responsible for the daily operation of ACSOM Simulation Center and management of simulation curriculum for the first- and second-year medical students; management of the standardized Patients program, management of medium and low-fidelity mannequins, as well as virtual simulation platform and other medical simulation equipment at the ACSOM.
Registrar
American Canadian School of Medicine (ACSOM) is looking for a registrar to join our team and be responsible for developing and operating the Office of Academic Records at ACSOM. Prepares all registration processes, maintains software tables, and oversees online registration. Follow ACSOM programs and policies as established by federal, state, administrative, and academic entities. Acts as a central communication resource for academic and policy information related to student records management. Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the academic record as highly confidential.
Who Can Apply: Anyone legally able to work on in the Country of Dominica.
When to Apply: Most Vendor contracts are available during Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer terms. If you get an interview, bring along your a list of times you will be free to work.
Qualifications: Previous University work is helpful but not necessary. ACSOM is usually looking for skills in working with people, typing, foreign languages, computers, filing, or audio-visual equipment. You also should have flexible hours and good work habits.
