Do Background Check Requirements Apply at Caribbean Medical School?
Background checks at Caribbean medical schools are not a one-time admissions issue; disclosure requirements can reappear at admission, before U.S. clinical rotations, and again during residency and licensure. Clearing a school’s application process does not guarantee access to clinical training, because U.S. hospitals and some states set their own screening rules for visiting medical students.
